Redneck Snowmen

Tuesday was inauguration day and also a snow day for us. They said expect 4-5 inches (and many in our county got that), but we got maybe a half inch. The kids were so excited because we haven't experienced snow since 2006. Jessie hasn't really got to ever play in snow so she just ran around screaming for joy.

.....when the redneck snow angels didn't work. Ahh, snow in the south.

And in other news. We recently sat through the 4-H awards night, it is long and hard for the kids (and even us), this year we got out pretty fast, only 2 1/2 hrs! Logan doesn't look it in this picture but he was so excited to receive 2 trophies and many ribbons. They are holding all the project books they had done. Chad had his phone ready to record the mess we were sure was about to happen onstage, but Logan held it together.
